  Totally a positive experience. The staff was very helpful, professional and kind; Dr. Hodos very patiently answered all my questions and offered options for addressing my situation.

  I did not appreciate having the shell game run on me at this office. I went there for heel pain. They gave me the checkup & x-rays. Dr. Hodos offered to give me heel inserts for my shoes. I tried them on and went to the front desk to make a follow up. There the receptionist informs me that will be $150 for the heel inserts. I was never informed of an upcharge and I have health insurance. When I said I did not want them she said "Well, you already have them on." I wore them all of 2 minutes! This is not the way you treat your patients. You inform them of even the possibility of upcharges or out of pocket expenses so the patient can make an informed decision. The head receptionist even said to me "What, you don't have $150?" insinuating I couldn't afford it. Its not the price as much as its the principle. Very poor customer service.
